Review Time!

Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream

Cost: $8.99
Location: Most Stores

I like the BB cream but I am not a complete fan of it. I love how the shades blend and can match with anyone's skin tone. It is basically a tinted moisturizer. It does blur imperfections and it is not as heavy as a foundation. I guess the reason I am not a fan of it is because it just doesn't fully give me the look that I was looking for. It gave me a clean look but it wore off pretty fast. It is better to apply this with a foundation brush. I know some people apply it with their fingers but I feel as though it comes out better when you use a brush than fingers. The texture is like a lotion but very different.

Pros:
Very light
Looks very natural
Makes your face feel very smooth
Blends well

Cons:
Not very easy to apply (kind of thick)
Not a lot of coverage
Wears off fast
Oily

I think that the reason I don't think it has really good coverage is because I don't really notice a difference because I don't have bad skin. But, when my cousin uses it who has about 3 acne scars, it did not blur her imperfections at all. So, I just if you're looking for something very sheer then this is definitely for you. I have very oily skin, it causes me to be a bit oily. However, I do know of people who set their BB Cream with a powder to reduce all of the oil production.

However, I definitely believe that this cream is worth a try. I do use it sometimes, like if I am just going to the grocery store or to class sometimes, when I am not doing a lot and I don't want to do a full face. I definitely think that a BB cream is something that should be added to every woman's collection. You guys are probably reading this think how can she like it and hate it at the same time; I don't even know the answer to that but I just do :)

But yeah, if you guys have any comments about this post leave it below. Remember to subscribe and +1 this post.

What is my must have beauty product and why?

I must have my eyeliner with me everyday! Even if I don't wear foundation, bronzer, eyeshadow or anything, eyeliner still gives my face that extra look that it needs. Eyeliner can go a long way. If I am running late for class or work, I just put on some eyeliner and I look gorgeous. My favorite type of liner is gel because it goes on easier than anything. I apply it to my top lid and I take a black eyeshadow that I have by maybelline and apply that to my lower lash line. It comes out beautiful. You guys will begin seeing my tutorials in a few weeks.

I hope you guys enjoy this post and I would love to know about the type of liner that you use and if ou have any tips or tricks :)

Thanks,
Britt

Ulta Eyeshadow in Twilight

Price: $7.00

I have recently gotten into Ulta Brand Eyeshadows because I did not know that they are as good as they are. The last time that I went to Ulta, I was browsing through their shadows and I was not having a good makeup shopping day (I really did not know what I wanted). I came across this color and fell in love with it. It is a beautiful color and would go very well with a smokey eye. Anything can be done with this color. It is a purplish gray color (just gorgeous). If you guys would like to see a review on all of the Ulta single shadows that I have just leave a comment below and I will do so because I have a total of 6 of them.

Britt

P.S. Sorry the swatch did not come out right, I could not get the lighting to come out right. But it looks the exact same way on skin as it does in the pan. :)

Tips: How to Makeup Your Foundation look Natural

This post is geared more towards those who use liquid foundation and a brush to apply it.

After you apply foundation with your brush (I use my foundation or stippling brush depending on mood) take a beauty sponge and pat it across your face (do not wipe) to remove transferable makeup from your face. This gives a very natural and matte look. Also, apply a face primer before applying foundation and use a setting spray once you complete all of your makeup.

My Top 5 Favorite Lip Glosses

L'oreal leGloss
These lip glosses are beautiful and gives your lips a beautiful shine. They last for a very long time. They give off a thick feel, but it is not a bad feeling; it feels like it is worth more than $7.99.

Milani Glitzy Glamour Gloss
These glosses are very rich in pigment. I love it because it gives the effect of a lipstick and gloss mixed in to one. Basically, the same as if you put lip gloss over your lipstick.

Rimmel Stay Glossy Lip Gloss
I like it because it is very basic and gives your lips just the right amount of shine.

NYX Lip Gloss w/ Mega Shine
These come in a variety of colors. I love glosses that are extra shine and this one fits my standards perfectly!

Palladio Plump 'n' Shine Lip Gloss
I love this gloss! .....Enough Said.

A Fact About Me:
My favorite color lip gloss is clear. I love the natural tone of my lips. However, I have just as many clear lip glosses as I do colored. Most of the time, when I wear a colored gloss, I top it with clear. I love clear just that much! LOL!

Thanks for reading and leave all comments below and don;t forget to subscribe for a chance to win my giveaway!

Product of the Day/Review

Maybelline Baby Lips in Quenched

I love this lip balm because IT’S NOT TOO HEAVY AND THICK. I USE IT UNDERNEATH MY LIP GLOSS. IT MOISTURIZES MY LIPS AND IT IS GOOD TO USE BECAUSE IT HAS SPF 20 AND NOT AT LIP GLOSSES Have THAT IN IT AND I SUGGEST USING IT UNDERNEATH ALL LIP PRODUCTS. IT KEEPS MY LIPS HYDRATED THROUGHOUT THE DAY. IT ALSO GIVES MY LIPS SHINE WHEN I DO NOT WANT TO APPLY A LIP GLOSS. THE OTHER COLORS WILL GIVE YOU A TINT IF YOU LIKE TINT. THEY COME IN A VARIETY OF COLORS. THEIR PRICES RANGE FROM $2.97 TO 5.99, DEPENDING ON WHERE YOU BUY IT FROM. Brushes Should Every Girl Have In Her Collection

Powder Brush: used for loose powder, mineral powder and bronzer
Foundation Brush: Used to apply liquid foundation
Blush Brush: Used to apply blush, very similar to a powder brush (they can both be used for the same thing)
Kabuki Brush: These brushes are universal and used for anything you want (mainly powders and liquid foundations).
Concealer Brush: Used to apply concealer
Eyeshadow Brushes: I would suggest getting several of these, having at least 5; get an eyeshadow brush set.
Eyeliner Brush: Used for cream and powder eyeshadows.

I would say the easiest way to get all of these brushes is to get a makeup brush set and decide on one that you like. A few sites that have them are:

www.sephora.com
www.ulta.com
www.sedonalace.com
www.sigmabeauty.com
www.realtechniques.com

You can also get brush sets from place like walmart, target, etc..

Remember to subscribe to my blog for a giveaway and to leave comments below and give me some +1s.

    PRODUCT OF THE DAY!!!!!!

    Rimmel  Natural Bronzer

I have the Rimmel Natural Bronzer in 021 Sunlight. I really like this product. This bronzer is really light for my skin since I am African American. However, I do not use it as a bronzer J I have a natural glow and brightness to my skin and this helps me to restore the glow in my skin after I apply my foundation. It gives me a more natural look. I didn’t think that there was a product that could do that, but to my surprise it was! These come in 4 different shades: Sun Light, Sun Bronze, Sun Glow, and Sun Dance. Sun Light is the lightest and Sun Dance is the darkest. I’ve been using this for about the past month and a half (maybe longer) and I believe everyone should have this. Even if you are looking for a darker tone, they have those as well! If you are more fair skin, then you could use this one for a contour. It is a must have product…go get yours right now!
