Powder Brush: used for loose powder, mineral powder and bronzer

Foundation Brush: Used to apply liquid foundation
Blush Brush: Used to apply blush, very similar to a powder brush (they can both be used for the same thing)

Kabuki Brush: These brushes are universal and used for anything you want (mainly powders and liquid foundations).
Concealer Brush: Used to apply concealer

Eyeshadow Brushes: I would suggest getting several of these, having at least 5; get an eyeshadow brush set.

Eyeliner Brush: Used for cream and powder eyeshadows.
I would say the easiest way to get all of these brushes is to get a makeup brush set and decide on one that you like. A few sites that have them are:
www.sephora.com
www.ulta.com
www.sedonalace.com
www.sigmabeauty.com
www.realtechniques.com
You can also get brush sets from place like walmart, target, etc..
